When I sat down to paint my first watercolor, I started with Whale, one of my favorite animals. I love learning about each creature, their environment, interests, likes and dislikes. I imagine backstories and scenes for each creature. I hope to create children’s books, games and animations to bring what I envision about each one to life. I began painting my watercolor creatures when I lived in Bellingham, Washington. Then, similar to Whale, I took a long journey in September 2025. I drove with my art across the USA, reached the ocean on the East Coast and then headed back west to where I currently reside in San Diego, California. You can find me painting along the water front or driving around town in my Whale car. I hope our adventures cross paths in a beautiful way. If you see me, say hi!
